Uninstall

Remove XAgents’s services and integrations in one step. Your sessions are kept unless you ask otherwise.

From the app

Choose XAgents › Uninstall XAgents…. If agents are running, XAgents warns you that uninstalling will stop them.

  • Removed: XAgents’s background services, launchers and caches, and its own entries in your Claude and Codex settings. Any file it edits is backed up first.
  • Kept: your sessions, messages and settings, unless you choose to remove them.
  • Never touched: your Claude and Codex sign-ins and conversations.

From Terminal

This shows what would be removed, without changing anything:

/Applications/XAgents.app/Contents/Resources/bin/xagents-uninstall

This removes services, launchers, caches and integrations, and keeps your data:

/Applications/XAgents.app/Contents/Resources/bin/xagents-uninstall --yes

This also removes your sessions, settings, browser data and the app itself:

/Applications/XAgents.app/Contents/Resources/bin/xagents-uninstall --yes --remove-data --remove-app

If agents are running, the Terminal command refuses to continue.
