Privacy
XAgents runs on your Mac, with your own Claude and Codex accounts. Your sessions stay where you can see them.
Your accounts, your Mac
XAgents runs the Claude Code and Codex CLIs on your Mac, signed in with your own accounts. It doesn’t sit between you and your provider, and it never sees or stores your sign-in. Install and sign-in commands run in your own Terminal.
Local-first
- Your sessions, messages and settings are stored on your Mac.
- Your Claude and Codex conversations stay in their own folders on your Mac.
- The setup log lists steps and errors only, and never contains credentials.
- Uninstalling keeps your sessions unless you choose to remove them. See Uninstall.
Optional modules
- Xval Engine runs on your Mac and learns from counts of what you use, never from copies of your conversations. Nothing is sent to us.
- Chief of Staff keeps its plans and company context on your Mac. Speech is recognized on your Mac.
- Search keeps its index on your Mac, readable only by you, with common secret patterns redacted before anything is written. See Global search.
- Updates, once automatic updates are on, download a signed update list from xagents.in. The request names the app’s version, build and channel, and nothing about your sessions.
- Advisory signals are off unless you save an advisory key on your Mac. When on, they send only fixed yes/no flags, bounded counts and category labels, never task text, transcripts, file paths or credentials.
What we receive
XAgents doesn’t send us your task text, transcripts, file paths or credentials. The waitlist, this website and the app’s data handling are covered by our privacy policy. Questions or requests: vaiditya@xagents.in.
