Needs you
Amber means an agent is waiting on you. Everything else stays quiet.
Blocked agents and permission prompts collect in Needs you at the top of the sidebar. The amber count also shows on each space and in the footer. Amber appears only where something needs you.

What counts
- A main agent that is blocked or waiting on a permission prompt.
- Helpers never ask for you. Only main agents count toward Needs you.
- An agent counts as finished only after it has been idle for 20 seconds, so a tool call isn’t mistaken for a finished turn.
The rest of the sidebar
- Done lists agents that have finished.
- Activity shows only agent reports, questions waiting on you and failures by default. Routine turns collapse to one line per agent per day, and the unread count is honest.
Ask before acting
New installs ask before an agent acts, so permission prompts are what you’ll see here first. Each provider has its own permission mode.
