The product tour

Every agent. One calm window.

XAgents is a native Mac workspace for Claude agents. Here is every part of it, in the order you will meet it.

01Spaces

A space for every project.

Each project gets its own space, with its folder, its agents, its terminals and its own browser logins. Switch spaces and everything is exactly where you left it.

  • The sidebar shows only what needs you in each space, so it stays quiet.
  • Resize or hide the sidebar with ⌥S. Focus mode, ⌥F, leaves just the conversation.

02Tabs and helpers

Tabs you can read. Helpers in green.

Agents and terminals share one row of tabs, sized to their names and titled with the real request. When the main agent hands off side work, its helpers open as smaller green tabs right beside it.

  • State comes first on every tab: a ring means working, amber means it needs you.
  • Helpers never interrupt you. Only main agents can ask for your attention.
  • Parent and helper links hold through restarts and handoffs.

03Needs you

Only one asks for you.

The rest keep working. Amber marks the one agent waiting on an answer: on its tab, on its space and in the Needs you list at the top of the sidebar.

  • An agent counts as finished only after 20 quiet seconds, so a pause between tool calls never looks like a finished turn.
  • Activity shows reports, questions and failures. Routine turns fold into one line per agent per day.

04Sleep and ⌘R

Idle agents sleep. ⌘R wakes them.

An agent with nothing to do for an hour goes to sleep, so it stops running and spending. Its tab keeps the last screen. Press Return or ⌘R and it picks up the same conversation, with the same model and effort.

  • Working agents never sleep, and agents you aren’t looking at run on the efficiency cores.
  • After three days asleep, an agent moves to Archive with its conversation kept.
  • A message from a linked agent wakes a sleeping one.

Press ⌘R to resume a sleeping agent.

05Browser

A browser beside the work.

Press ⌘\ for a browser split next to the conversation. Your agent opens the page, clicks through it, reads the console and fixes what breaks before it calls the job done.

  • Agents drive it with 35 tools: navigate, read the page, click, type, wait, take screenshots and run scripts.
  • Point and tell, ⇧⌘C, attaches any element on the page to your message.
  • Every space keeps its own logins, and private tabs keep none.

06Onboarding

A tour on the real thing.

The first launch opens on a welcome that checks your Claude setup, then a nine-stop tour pinned to the real controls. Nothing covers the workspace, so you can use it the whole way through.

  • Return or → moves on, ← goes back and Esc skips.
  • Replay it any time from Help › Show Onboarding Again.
  • If you already use XAgents, it never interrupts you.

Stop 1 of 9 Spaces

One space per project. Its agents, terminals and browser stay together.

07Keyboard

Your hands stay on the keys.

Everything you do often has a shortcut, and the tour teaches the ones that matter on day one.

  • ⇧⌘TNew agent
  • ⌘JJump to any agent
  • ⌘RResume a sleeping agent
  • ⌘\Open the browser split
  • ⇧⌘CPoint and tell
  • ⌥SShow or hide the sidebar
  • ⌥FFocus mode
  • ⌘+Zoom the whole window
