Sleep and ⌘R
Idle agents sleep to free memory and keep their place. Press Return or ⌘R to pick up the same conversation.
Why agents sleep
Idle agents hibernate to free memory, and a moon marks them. An agent sleeps after an hour without activity. XAgents keeps at most six agents live; beyond that, idle ones sleep after 15 minutes, least recently used first. A working agent never sleeps.

Resume
Select a sleeping tab and press Return or ⌘R. It shows its last screen with Resume. Resume restores the model, effort and account flags, and opens the same conversation: it never falls back to “latest”. If the saved conversation is missing, you choose from a list. A message from a linked agent also wakes a sleeping agent.
To put an agent to sleep yourself, press ⌃⌘H.
Archive
After three days asleep, an agent moves to Archive and its conversation is kept. Agents that are working, need you, are parents of live helpers or have pending messages never move. Restoring an agent gives it a fresh three days.
When your Mac sleeps
XAgents keeps your Mac awake while agents work and lets it rest when they stop. If the Mac sleeps mid-reply, the reply is continued automatically afterwards.
